I have always loved wildlife from a very young age and you could always find us (my mum and I) in our local zoo Artis in Amsterdam. Despite my mums best efforts to take short cuts in the zoo I always insisted on seeing every animal, it made my mum laugh we had to say hi to every animal. The natural world and photography are my big passion now. I started my photography journey with a Pentax Z-1 film camera and my first digital camera was a Sony DSC-F828 (I still have it). My first DSLR camera was the Canon EOS 30D and more followed after; 7D, 5Dmk2, 5Dmk3, 7Dmk2, 5DSR and I am now venturing into the Canon mirrorless system. I have been lucky enough to be able to combine my two passions and I offer a beautiful selection of animals for photography. I specialise in mantids, frogs and lizards which you could photograph in my studio and I can offer snakes, tarantulas and other amazing species at Merrist Wood with the rare and exotic animal photography workshop.
